The moment that my daughter who was, then, only 12 years old told me that she understood Pastor’s message from the pulpit.

It’s important to me how other people see me. Jesus said, “I desire mercy.” I enjoy the opportunity to exploit mercy and grace to others, and since others are watching, it’s my prayer that they see Christ reflected in me. Because I am in a leadership position, this role gets me to that place where God will judge me by how I treat others.

Not to sound greater than Thou, Jesus is my favorite person. I enjoy the way Jesus led by example. Whatever He asked others to do, He also did, but He never asked them to do anything that He hadn’t done.

Playing tennis, reading and being around my family. Tennis because it gets my heart beating and because of the competitiveness. Reading because of the role it plays in education. Being around my family because of it gives me the opportunity to see that they are well.
